My name is Diane Dempsey and I am an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
I have worked at Fenham in this new role since January 2016. I work with the GPs as the first point of contact for patients who are acutely unwell and need to be reviewed urgently. I am able to prescribe medication and refer patients for further care and investigations.
I am also qualified to advise patients on contraception.
Make an appointment with the practice nurses for contraception, smears, travel vaccines, NHS Health Checks, dressings and childhood immunisations.
